At work:  I devise and implement patent strategies in the fields of chemistry and healthcare for a wide range of clients, from start-ups though to multinationals.  This work includes drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office (EPO), defending and opposing granted patents at the EPO and providing validity and infringement opinions.

The Company:  We obtain, maintain and enforce our clients’ intellectual property rights.  Working closely with a broad spectrum of clients over the years has given us an extensive knowledge of the business challenges which face industry and how to use patents, designs and trademarks for maximum advantage.

After work: Squash and snooker (reasonably), golf (badly), music and film.
