At work: I specialise in corporate law with a particular focus on transactional work. I act for a wide range of clients on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, management buy outs and buy ins and restructurings and reorganisations. I also act on joint ventures and investments by business angels and entrepreneurs.
Why: I enjoy working with entrepreneurs and businesses to help them to achieve their aims and find solutions to issues. It is particularly satisfying working for local businesses which has a positive impact on the East Midlands.
The Company: Browne Jacobson is a full service commercial with its head office in Nottingham with offices in Birmingham and London and approximately 500 employees including 57 partners. We provide practical and commercial legal advice to a wide range of businesses, institutions and individuals. In the last 12 months the corporate transactional team have completed in excess of 100 deals. The Corporate finance team based in Nottingham won the legal team of the year at the Insider Dealmakers awards 2008.
