Alex Tew isn't your average 24 year old. He hit success with MillionDollarHomepage.com at just 21 years old and made more than a million dollars within four months of launching and all while studying at university! Alex is motivated by 'big ideas' the next of which is social media site PopJam.
Alex addressed a packed room at Silverstone Innovation Centre on Wednesday night full of entrepreneurs, investors and business support organisations. The audience also heard from investor and Chairman of Northamptonshire growth company Blackstar who have raised finance through Growth Invesment and from Nick Wright from the East Midlands Early Growth Fund on what investors look for in a business.
The presentations were sandwiched with networking, the latter part of which was still carrying on when we were turfing people out of the building!
