Adam Roberts runs on-line restaurant booking service Go-Dine. He started the business 18 months ago and has established it in Nottingham on a limited budget. Adam is now at crucial point. His challenge is in taking advantage of the opportunities in front of him. Adam addressed the audience on his decisions whilst raising finance.

Emily Bendell gave up her job as an Assistant Editor of a business journal and launched BlueBella in 2006. This month Emily has been shortlisted for the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Future Award, and with a round of investment funding underway BlueBella will begin its expansion to a national network of party plan consultants.  Emily told us why she decided to look for finance and how she went about it.

Chris Scarth co-founded education software company Prime Principle 6 years ago. They raised business angel finance 4 years ago and haven’t looked back since. Now fast growing and highly profitable Chris reflected on his lessons learned and the role of investment in their success as well as what the future might hold for him and his investor.

Andrew Springhall co-founded Power On Connections, one of the regions fastest growing businesses. Andrew and the business picked up a bucket of awards including East Midlands Entrepreneur of the year before selling the business for a tidy profit in 2008. As well as launching recruitment firm Blusource, Andrew is also now a serial investor. Andrew discussed his keys to success and what he looks for in an investment
