We at Growth Investment organise 4 main events a year but in addition there are plenty of other interesting and relevant events hosted by our network of specialists and others througout the region.

Investor Preparation Day

Experience has shown that education and preparation goes a long way in raising investment. The Investor Preparation Day is developed and delivered by an experienced fundraising team and is designed to enlighten entrepreneurs about the investment process.

Investor Preparation Days are held in the E-Synergy Ltd office based in the Silverstone Innovation Centre at Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire:

The investor’s perspective - what they are looking for

 What to expect from the due diligence process
 An introduction to valuation
 The tools needed to raise capital
 How to write an opportunity note for investors – the written two minute pitch
 Your elevator pitch - how to package your service / product
 An introduction to investment structures

During the morning of the Investor Preparation Day companies will receive advice and assistance in perfecting a two minute pitch. In the afternoon the pitches will be filmed by a professional film crew and you will then be given an opportunity to review your own video before it is uploaded to the website.

After the Investor Preparation Day the Access2Finance Showcase Events team will work with you to create an opportunity note, which combined with the video of the pitch, will be loaded onto the Investor Portal and can be viewed by potential investors.

Once a company is ready to present to investors they will be invited to a networking event in London. Post any event the Access2Finance Showcase Events team offer support in following up contacts made during the networking event.
The Investor Preparation Days cost £100 + vat for up to two people to attend. The day includes a complimentary hot buffet lunch.
