At work: I head up the Business Services department and work within the Corporate team. I specialise in MBOs, MBIs and business sales and purchases.

Why: The nature of corporate legal work and what makes it fascinating for me is the opportunity to meet so many different entrepreneurial individuals and their businesses and to use the knowledge and experience I have gained to help them work out solutions and create new strategies for growth

The Company:Shakespeares is a midlands based law firm offering a broad spectrum of legal and advisory services for both businesses and individuals. The Corporate department is lead by a three-partner team which is quoted in the Legal 500 as having a reputation for straight-talking, honest advice. Together the team cover banking, corporate restructuring, management buy-outs, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and share holder issues. We pride ourselves on providing a refreshing approach and straight-talking advice to start-ups, spin outs, owner-managed businesses, business angels and venture capitalists.

After work: Rugby, golf, family, gardening and good food.
