Coaching for High Growth: Recruitment process has begun

Coaching for High Growth: helping companies to realise their growth potential
Coaching for High Growth is a new intensive package of support funded by East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and the European Regional Development Fund to help ambitious and forward thinking East Midlands businesses to unlock and sustain their high growth potential. It is part of Government’s Solutions for Business portfolio of business support products. The programme design has been heavily influenced by emda’s previous successful high growth support programmes which have operated since 2005 helping over 190 companies to achieve and sustain growth.
The target audience is East Midlands companies employing fewer than 250 full time staff with the potential to achieve 20% growth per annum.
Coaching for High Growth will help businesses prepare for and meet the challenges presented by high growth, through one to one coaching and a series of Masterclasses on key topics. Each business will receive a tailored package of support over 12 months to ensure maximum impact on performance, bottom line and growth prospects. Successful participants in previous emda high growth support programmes have ranged from companies employing 5 people right up to the limit of 250 employees, and have been from sectors as diverse as engineering, manufacturing, food and drink, electronics and IT, professional services, medical services, retail, packaging, logistics, and children’s nurseries.
Recruitment of the first 50 companies has now started. Delivery of the 12 month programme of support for the 2010 Coaching for High Growth participants will begin in June.
