Green Cash Up for Grabs
23/02/2009

Financial assistance and expert advice are on offer to help small businesses grow their green ideas.
Renewables East wants to make sure that good ideas to help tackle global warming don’t wither on the vine because they can’t get support in the early stages.
Firms with ideas for products or services to generate green electricity, or reduce energy consumption or carbon emissions, are being invited to a free event in Cambridge.
There they can learn how to get funding and meet a host of experts, gathered to make sure companies from across the East of England and East Midlands can thrive in the low carbon economy of the future.
The Low Carbon Technology Acceleration Forum will be held at Robinson College on February 24. It has been organised for Renewables East by Cambridgeshire-based consultancy Innovation Observatory.
The free event runs from 8.30am to 1.45pm. To register, contact Danny Dicks, Simon Sherrington or Andrea Marandino at Innovation Observatory, either by email at REevent@innovationobservatory.com, or by phone on 01480 309341.
Alternatively, book your place online at http://renewableseast.eventhq.co.uk/
