Financial Tool Secures Investment

Warwick based Omnii Solutions Ltd has raised investment for the development of a web based tool aimed at the financial advice market after delivering a successful pitch at a Connect Midlands’ Springboard investment showcase.
The company presented their proposition to a room of investors in 2008, where they were introduced to Tim Powell, Investment Manager for the Advantage Early Growth Fund. The introduction led to the recent investment of £75k.
"AEGF working closely with the angel investor network, play an important role regionally,” recognised Powell; “in helping fund early stage propositions, like Omnii Solutions who otherwise would perhaps have stalled at such a critical phase in its development"
Nick Berry, the company’s Managing Director is enthusiastic about the role that the investment has played in helping the project to progress; “The investment allowed us to complete primary development work, putting us in an excellent position for the new year. The introduction at Springboard proved very valuable to us.”
The development of the tool is certainly a timely one, as Berry explains; “The system addresses many of the issues that lay behind the current credit crunch and will help companies going forward in what will inevitably be a much tougher market.”
